Animation Workflow

Discover the animation workflow that I use, and its various benefits.

Within animation studios, it’s common practice for animators to create their work by following a very specific series of stages.

This workflow exists to ensure that work is easy to review and can be completed on time.

Whilst primarily designed for teams, working on large productions, this workflow still offers many advantages to those working by themselves on freelance, or personal, projects.

The benefit of structure

Whilst working in a very structured way may seem to be less creative, it actually helps us to focus on the bigger picture first without getting lost in the details.

This actually opens the door for more experimentation, and makes it far easier to address notes when working within a team.

In the latest lesson of my Into Motion course, I discuss this animation workflow and its various benefits.

Whether you hope to work within a studio or create your own personal projects, this workflow is essential to understand.

I hope you enjoy the lesson!
